Project Management

The project management of e-learning rollout and implementation typically encounters the following difficulties.

Getting everyone motivated and cooperative

This has to do with solving cultural issues ( see  Cultural Issues) and making clear to students that you know what you are doing. Giving them confidence in the process is down to you.

For this reason we have produced a handbook that you can use as a guideline/starter.

To plan both the in-class and e-learning courses

Depending on the project, it can be good practice to mix e-learning with in-class training. This called Blended Learning. There is a specific order to how this should be done. Plus, with this you can make good use of your  internal training department. We provide a starter planner for you to use and consulting on how to implement  this.

We have also built an online planning tool that you can use, and even integrate your intranet.

Monitoring the progress of the students

This is easy for in-class training, but complicated for students who attend e-learning courses. If you have the e-learning material hosted on our servers, then you can use the Monitor module. This module monitors the progress and emails your managers in case of alerts and students in case they are behind schedule.
